Terms of Use

Last updated: April 26, 2026

These terms govern your use of Aftr (“the app”), an iOS application operated by Nennovate, LLC (“Nennovate”, “we”, “us”).

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Aftr, you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”), which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula

If you do not agree, do not use Aftr.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Aftr on iOS devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms.

3. Subscriptions

Aftr is funded by an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple via the App Store.

  • Plans: annual ($29.99/year) or monthly ($3.99/month). Pricing and availability vary by region.
  • Free trial: new annual subscribers get a 7-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Apple charges your iTunes account at the start of each renewal period.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: all refunds are handled by Apple per their standard refund policy. We are not able to issue refunds directly.

4. Your content

Anything you create inside Aftr — places, notes, photo references — belongs to you. We don’t claim any rights to your content. We also don’t have access to it; it stays on your device.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use Aftr to do things that are illegal where you live, or to harm other people, or to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the app beyond what’s permitted by applicable law.

6. Disclaimer

Aftr is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that the location detection is exhaustive, that every venue name is correct, that the app will be available without interruption, or that your data will never be lost. Back up your iPhone.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to these terms or your use of Aftr is limited to the amount you paid us through the App Store in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or loss of goodwill.

8. Privacy

Your use of Aftr is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. Your continued use of Aftr after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using Aftr at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms. The provisions of sections 4, 6, 7, 11, and 12 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Apple EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nennovate regarding Aftr, and supersede any prior agreements.
